Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway Are a Toxic Work Couple in "WeCrashed" Trailer

Apple TV+'s "WeCrashed" centers the toxic love story of Adam Neumann and his wife, Rebekah Neumann — better known as the couple who founded office space startup company, WeWork. On 19 Jan., the streamer dropped the first teaser trailer for its upcoming eight-part limited series, starring Jared Leto as Adam and Anne Hathaway as Rebekah. The show is based on the Wondery podcast "WeCrashed: The Rise and Fall of WeWork" and depicts how the company went from being valued at $47 billion to $2.9 million in 2020.

The teaser clip shows an unrecognisable Leto getting excited about the future of the company as he says, "This is what tomorrow looks like . . . WeWork isn't just a company, it's a movement." Scenes also flash as Neumann and his wife express their admiration for one another and party at raves before everything comes to a crash.

In the extended trailer, which arrived on Feb. 24, the true-life story digs deeper into Adam and Rebekah's attempts to build their billion-dollar empire. But when fame and fortune get in their way, the couple's relationship and egos spiral out of control. "Nothing is more important than us," Hathaway says in the intense clip, adding, "You couldn't do this without me."

"WeCrashed" premieres on March 18 with three episodes available to stream on Apple TV+, followed by weekly episodes until 22 April. Watch the full trailer above.
