Everyone in the megapopular Shonda Rhimes Netflix original series, based on the novels by Julia Quinn [3], is alluring, chic, and just a little mysterious . . . especially the elusive Lady Whistledown. Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): Marina Thompson

She's gorgeous but a little timid and reserved — quietly protecting a secret. Marina Thompson, cousin to the Featheringtons, is comfortable being alone and always thinks two steps in the future. While Marina tries her best to fit into society, her heart belongs to someone else. She is friendly and nice with Penelope Featherington and others, but at the end of the day, she takes care of herself. If Marina isn't looking out for Marina, then who will? She is a classic Capricorn, always in control with a plan to get what she wants, no matter what (or who) tries to get in the way.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): Colin Bridgerton

As an Aquarius, Colin Bridgerton [6] is an upstanding gentleman. Aries are confident leaders who are passionate, generous, courageous, and honest — everything we love about Daphne.

Taurus (April 20-May 20): Lady Violet Bridgerton

Taurus signs are stubborn in what they want — whether that's the finer things in life or upstanding family values. The Viscountess, Lady Violet Bridgerton [8], is peak elegance. She loved her late husband fiercely and encourages her daughter to marry for love as well, despite what her eldest son might have to say on the matter. She is quick-witted and strong, with her deepest desire for all of her children to be happy (and avoid scandal). Lady Bridgerton is also a fan of tradition, routine, and keeping her upstanding family reputation, just like a Taurus.

Gemini (May 21-June 20): Eloise Bridgerton

Like her fellow Gemini, Elouise Bridgerton [9] is smart to a fault, curious, social with other people, and indecisive. She can't be bothered with the trite trappings of romance or silly gowns; instead, she is somewhat of a feminist role model, longing to make her own way in the world without knowing exactly how to do so. She is also a loyal friend, sticking by Penelope Featherington's side, and someone who often makes totally impulsive decisions, (you know, like suddenly leaving an event to warn Lady Whistledown away from a trap).

Cancer (June 21-July 22): Penelope Featherington

Penelope Featherington is often overlooked in social settings, but she is determined to make it in society (with her eyes set on one fine young gentleman, Collin Bridgerton [10]). As a Cancer, Penelope is intuitive about the world around her (read: other people's business), as well as loyal and protective of those she cares about. She struggles between staying young and gossiping with her best friend, Eloise Bridgerton, and becoming a poised member of society. But don't underestimate her, or you will surely live to regret it! As a Cancer, her jealousy is a real thing, as are her moodiness and sensitivity.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22): Queen Charlotte

Who else would Her Majesty Queen Charlotte be, other than a Leo? The queen, like her sign, is the fiercest leader, with an outgoing personality, bold fashion choices (that hair!), and a loyal fan base. Queen Charlotte holds all the power. You don't want to get on her bad side (especially if she's bored and looking for drama). She is strong and intelligent, has a good eye for people, and shows off her incredible character when met with impossible challenges. When the queen walks in the room, like any other Leo, everyone stops and stares.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Anthony Bridgerton

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): Simon Basset, Duke of Hastings

Look up passion in the dictionary and you will find Simon Basset, Duke of Hastings (and resident hottie). The duke is a Scorpio, known for being ambitious, brave, loyal, and determined, who also keeps things hidden away from those he cares about. When he isn't making funny quips or gliding elegantly along the dance floor, he's boxing in the ring, fighting in bars, or making sweet, passionate love to his wife. But be careful: he has an angry temper that you don't want to mess with, another common Scorpio trait.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): Lady Whistledown

Mysterious, aloof, and oh so enticing, Lady Whistledown is the star of the show — even though nobody actually seems to know who she is. She is the person who knows all the tea — she drinks it, spills it, loves it — and with words, secrets, and scandals, she can capture the attention of everyone in the city.
