Before You Subscribe to Paramount+, Check Out Its Library of Upcoming Shows and Movies

Paramount+ is set to arrive on March 4, and the updated streaming service has a huge lineup of upcoming original shows to get excited about. Where its predecessor, the narrower CBS All Access, only had a handful of original shows, the new Paramount+ intends to host dozens of new shows, taking advantage of the full ViacomCBS-owned library.

So what's in the pipeline for Paramount+? At launch, the platform certainly won't have all these titles, but there are plenty of exciting projects currently in development or in production. You'll be able to catch revivals of your favourite comedies, dramas, and reality shows, as well as spinoffs of popular franchises, new shows inspired by classic movies, and totally original titles just getting started. Here's a complete rundown of everything that's been announced for Paramount+ so far:

• As-yet-untitled Avatar spinoff
• Behind the Music: a reboot of the classic MTV music docuseries
• Criminal Minds: a reboot of the CBS crime procedural, focusing on one case per season rather than one case per episode.
• Dating Naked: The former VH1 reality series, cancelled in 2017, returns as a streaming show.
• A Dora the Explorer live-action series
• Fatal Attraction: The thriller, which originally starred Glenn Close and Michael Douglas as a couple whose adulterous relationship turns terrifying, will be reworked for the 21st century. It will be "told through the lens of modern attitudes when it comes to strong women, personality disorders, victim shaming and coercive control," according to TVLine.
• Flashdance: The 1980s movie is getting a new treatment for this TV version. As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the modern update "will revolve around a young Black woman with ballet dreams and a strip club reality who struggles to find her place in the world while navigating romance, money, art, friendship and how to love herself."
• Frasier: The iconic sitcom returns as a revival, with original star Kelsey Grammer already signed on. "Having spent over 20 years of my creative life on the Paramount lot, both producing shows and performing in several, I'd like to congratulate Paramount+ on its entry into the streaming world," Grammer said in a statement to TVLine. "I gleefully anticipate sharing the next chapter in the continuing journey of Dr. Frasier Crane."
• From Cradle to Stage: A six-part docuseries tracing the relationships between successful musicians and their mothers
• The Good Fight
• Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies: If you've ever wondered how Grease's famed Pink Ladies came together, this is the show for you! The musical comedy series will trace how four girls at Rydell High became the girl gang we know and love. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show will "focus on how Sandy, Rizzo, Jan, Marty and Frenchy came together and how the reverence, fear and moral panic they sparked changed Rydell forever."
• Guilty Party: The original dark comedy stars Kate Beckinsale as Beth, a discredited journalist trying to rescue her career by investigating the case of a young woman facing life in prison for murdering her husband, a crime she swears she didn't commit. According to the show's official synopsis, reported by Variety, "Beth finds herself in over her head as she contends with Colorado gun-smugglers, clickbait culture, the doldrums of marriage and her own tarnished past."
• Halo: A TV adaptation of the famous video game franchise, which will depict a 26th-century conflict between humans and an alien group called the Covenant.
• iCarly: A revival of the Nickelodeon comedy, with original stars Miranda Cosgrove, Jerry Trainor, and Nathan Kress signed on to return.
• Ink Master: After being cancelled on the linear Paramount cable network, the tattoo reality show will be back for streaming.
• Inside Amy Schumer: Amy Schumer's sketch series is back, but not quite in the same form. Instead of a full-fledged series order, the show is set to return for a set of five specials.
• Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years: A SpongeBob prequel centreed on a 10-year-old SpongeBob attending a summer sleepaway camp.
• Land Man: A modern-day Western set in the oil boomtowns of West Texas, Land Man will be a drama about oil billionaires, the ordinary people who work for them, and the enormous impact they're having on politics, the environment, and the entire world.
• Love Story: An adaptation of the classic 1970 movie, from Gossip Girl and The O.C. executive producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage.
• Mayor of Kingstown: A drama set in Michigan, a town that thrives on for-profit prisons, following one powerful family as they make their own attempts to address law and justice.
• Queen of the Universe: a new reality competition series, featuring drag queens from around the world in a high-style musical competition
• Road Rules: a reboot of the reality series, featuring a set of strangers who leave their normal lives behind to travel to unknown destinations in an RV, competing to make it to the end of the trip and win a major prize.
• RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars
• Rugrats: The revival of the animated classic, originally slated to air on original network Nickelodeon, will be shifting over to Paramount Plus. The original voice cast (E.G. Daily, Nancy Cartwright, Cheryl Chase, Cree Summer, and Kath Soucie) will all return.
• Star Trek: Discovery
• Star Trek: Picard
• Star Trek: Prodigy: An animated Star Trek show about a group of teens on a starship, Prodigy will air on Paramount Plus for its intial run before airing on the linear Nickelodeon network.
• Star Trek: Strange New Worlds: A spinoff of Star Trek: Discovery focusing on Captain Christopher Pike and Mr. Spock
• The Challenge: All Stars: a revival of the reality competition series, with former contestants from The Challenge and Road Rules competing for against each other in an ultimate matchup.
• The Fairly OddParents live-action series
• The Game: a revival of the BET sports dramedy, with original stars Coby Bell and Brandy back on board to reprise their roles. "When it premiered on @BET, @TheGameBET broke records. The sitcom is back on #ParamountPlus to offer a modern-day examination of Black culture through the prism of pro football," the streamer tweeted.
• The Harper House: An animated show about the matriach of a quirky family, forced to move into a fixer-upper family home after she loses her job and has to move out of their rich neighbourhood.
• The Italian Job: A sequel to the iconic movie, focusing on the grandchildren of the original movie's criminal hero, who inherit his safety deposit box and are sent off on a dangerous adventure.
• The Man Who Fell To Earth: Starring Chiwetel Ejiofer, the series is a remake of the 1976 David Bowie movie about an alien being who arrives on earth and witnesses turning points in humanity.
• The Offer: A ten-episode docuseries on the making of The Godfather
• The Parallax View: A TV adaptation of the 1974 political thriller about a secret organisation that specialises in political assassinations.
• The Real World: Homecoming: New York: the original stars of The Real World reunite in a docuseries that brings them back to the same loft where the original series first began.
• Unplugged: A revival of the MTV unscripted music series
• Weekly Show with Trevor Noah
• Y:1883: The prequel to Yellowstone follows the Dutton family in the late 19th century, chronicling their journey to settle in the untamed West and what happens when they arrive.
• Yellowstone 6666: Another Yellowstone spinoff, this drama focuses on a centuries-old ranch, the 6666. According to Deadline's synopsis, "The 6666 is where the rule of law and the laws of nature merge in a place where the most dangerous thing one does is the next thing ... The 6666 is synonymous with the merciless endeavour to raise the finest horses and livestock in the world, and ultimately where world class cowboys are born and made."
• Yo! MTV Raps: A revival of the MTV unscripted music series
• Younger: the (likely) final season of the popular comedy, set in the publishing world of New York City, will air first on Paramount Plus, then on its original cable network TVLand.
