Temperatures might be dropping as we transition from summer to fall, but if you're a fan of the After [1] franchise, things are about to seriously heat up, because the much-anticipated third instalment of the spicy series, After We Fell [2], is coming out soon! Continuing on the narrative from After and After We Collided [3], After We Fell will follow the drama-fuelled relationship between Tessa (Josephine Langford [4]) and Hardin (Hero Fiennes Tiffin [5]). Expect the couple to face intense obstacles and romantic challenges and deal with the impact of a new job, a move to Seattle, and the exposure of some dark family secrets. A movie filled with mysterious scandals and wild twists? Count us in!

Both After We Fell [6] and the fourth film in the franchise, After Ever After, began production in September 2020. And luckily, after over a year of building excitement, After We Fell will premiere in theatres on Sept. 30. But if you'd prefer to cosy up at home and watch the movie on Netflix, you might be wondering when After We Fell will become streamable. The exact Netflix release date hasn't yet been publicly announced, but here's what we know so far:

The first movie in the franchise, After, hit theatres in April 2019. It then premiered on Netflix six months later in October 2019. The second movie, After We Collided, premiered on VOD and in theatres in October 2020, and was then released on Netflix in December 2020, a short two months later.

It's likely that After We Fell will more closely follow the launch plan and timeline that After did, given that the accelerated After We Collided rollout was influenced by COVID-19 restrictions and theatre closures. In other words, we anticipate a March 2022 Netflix release, with the expectation that it'll be available on VOD even sooner.

In the meantime, you can watch (and rewatch!) After and After We Collided on Netflix, check out the After We Fell trailer, or read the book series by Anna Todd that the franchise is based on.
