In mid-March, ABC moved Nightline, which exclusively covered the coronavirus, to Jimmy Kimmel Live's 11:35 p.m. slot. Starting Monday, April 13, the show will air original episodes in a 30-minute format in its original slot followed by Nightline's coronavirus updates. On Monday, March 30, The Late Show With Stephen Colbert returned to CBS in its original airtime of 11:35 p.m. with original full-hour episodes conducted remotely. Stephen Colbert was one of the first late-night hosts to start posting videos on YouTube, bringing his fanbase a little bit of levity by delivering his monologue from his bathtub.
