Season two [1] of Netflix's "Love Is Blind" [2] has officially wrapped. By the season finale, five couples remained on their journey to find love and a happily ever after at their weddings. Two others, meanwhile, chose to complete their journeys off camera [3]. Of course, it wouldn't be "Love Is Blind" without a few final twists before everyone headed to the altar — and not everyone walked away happily married.
Unlike many other dating reality TV shows, the engagement is just one stop along the way on "Love Is Blind." After their blind dates, the would-be couples get engaged before they even meet face to face in real life. After quick and dramatic in-person reveals, the show then spends the rest of the season following their journeys to the altar as the pairs get to know each other's lives and decide whether or not they really can spend their lives together [4].
During the second season, only two couples said "I do" at their weddings, while the rest stumbled at the last hurdle. So where are these final couples now? While everyone was understandably quiet on social media while the show aired, we're taking a look at where we left off with the five final couples and whether they might still be together. Are Iyanna and Jarrette From "Love Is Blind" Season 2 Still Together?
Iyanna and Jarrette certainly seemed like they both wanted to make their relationship work, but before heading to the altar, Iyanna clearly had a few doubts. In a confessional before their scheduled wedding, Iyanna admitted to concerns that Jarrette hadn't truly committed to changing up his "bachelor" lifestyle and wasn't ready to be a married man.
At their wedding (officiated by Jarrette's father), Jarrette enthusiastically said "I do," and, after a moment's pause, so did Iyanna.
"We have so much more to do, but, oh, my God, this is a great start," she said in a confessional after the wedding. So was it really a great beginning for them? So far, it looks like it! Neither has confirmed anything on social media, but they still appear to be following each other.
Are Danielle and Nick From "Love Is Blind" Season 2 Still Together?
After some ups and downs — including an onscreen panic attack that Danielle later addressed in an incredibly vulnerable Instagram post [5] — Danielle and Nick made it to the altar in the finale.
"I'm glad that I found you, and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life being better together," Nick said during their wedding.
Neither Nick nor Danielle has made any public statements confirming their current relationship status, but there are a few hints that they're still together. It appears that they and their families follow each other on Instagram still, and Nick recently commented supportively on Danielle's post about her experience with panic attacks.
Are Deepti and Shake From "Love Is Blind" Season 2 Still Together?
There are always at least one or two couples who don't even make it past the altar on "Love Is Blind [6]." This season, Deepti and Shake were on that list. Throughout their relationship, both expressed doubts but tried to overcome them; in particular, Shake repeatedly said he didn't feel a strong physical connection.
When they actually got to the altar, though, it was Deepti who put an end to things.
"I hope you know how much you mean to me and the impact you've made on my life, but no, I cannot marry you," she told Shake. "I deserve somebody who knows for sure. So I'm choosing myself, and I'm going to say no." After Deepti left, Shake admitted that he was upset by her decision but believed that they might be able to be friends in the future.
Unsurprisingly, Deepti and Shake were both quiet on social media while the season aired, so we don't know if they're dating anyone new (or if they rekindled their relationship). They're still following each other, so maybe Shake's hopes for a friendship, at least, have come true.
Are Natalie and Shayne From "Love Is Blind" Season 2 Still Together?
Natalie and Shayne arguably had the season's most tumultuous relationship, especially with Shaina trying to get between them. The night before their wedding, the pair got into a big fight, but they still agreed to show up at the altar.
Ultimately, Natalie decided that their issues were just too big to overcome.
"I'm so glad that we shared this journey together. I think we've grown a lot, as two people who have fallen in love," she told Shayne. "I still love you and you're still my best friend, but like, we have really big issues to sort through." Later, as the two spoke one more time, Natalie reiterated that she still loved Shayne and hoped they might be able to work out their issues.
"Still love her. Still think she's a good person. But you think I'm actually going to f***ing come back to you after that kind of stuff again?" Shayne said in a confessional. Whether or not they reunited off camera is still up in the air.
Are Mallory and Salvador From "Love Is Blind" Season 2 Still Together?
Mallory and Salvador had to overcome quite a few obstacles on their way to the altar, including a lack of support from some of their family members. In the end, when they walked down the aisle, Salvador tearfully apologised to Mallory and said that he couldn't marry her.
"I feel like I just need more time," he said. Later, after their not-wedding, the couple talked over what had gone down, and Mallory admitted that she wasn't entirely sure about things either.
The two did end the show on a hopeful note, with Salvador suggesting they go on a date. Mallory accepted, but neither of them has given anything away on social media about the current status of their relationship.
