Clare's second season on Bachelor in Paradise didn't yield any actual relationship, just a few dates, but her time on Bachelor Winter Games was much more successful. She and Bachelorette Canada contestant Benoît seemed to really hit it off, until she had a date with another contestant and Benoît chose to quit the show. But that wasn't the end for them: on the reunion show, Clare and Benoît revealed they'd gotten back together, and he proposed live on TV!
Sadly, their engagement only lasted a few months, and they broke up later in 2018. However, it seems like they've managed to stay amicable, at least. When Clare was announced as the new Bachelorette, Benoît posted a cute throwback picture of them on Instagram, captioned, "Congratulations to this gem!! She will be an amazing Bachelorette. She is smart, fun, strong, knows what she wants and most importantly, she will call out the guys messing around!! Hell yeah!! Good Luck on your journey to find love @clarecrawley !! You will be the best #thebestbacheloretteever"
