Who Owns Avengers Tower Now? Hawkeye May Hint At the Mystery Buyer

It's totally plausible Reed Richards bought the Avengers Tower and it'll soon become the Fantastic Four's headquarters, aka the Baxter Building. During Disney Investor Day 2020, producer Kevin Feige announced a new Fantastic Four movie is in the works, and Jon Watts, who directed Marvel's Spider-Man: Homecoming movie trilogy, will helm the film. Since the Baxter Building is supposed to be located in Manhattan just like Avengers Tower, it's easy to see how the two could become connected.

And that's not all! An easter egg in Spider-Man: Far From Home may point toward the Fantastic Four owning the Avengers Tower in the future. At the end of the movie, Spider-Man swings by the newly redesigned building, and in the background, there's a sign that reads, "We Can't Wait To Show You What Comes Next." Underneath the sign is the numbers one, two, and three. There's also an arrow pointing toward a question mark. Fans think it's naturally supposed to be a number four, which could tease the Fantastic Four will take over the Avengers Tower next.

Considering we find out the Avengers Tower gets sold in Spider-Man: Homecoming, and then we see it under construction in Spider-Man: Far From Home, it seems as if the building might have fallen into the hands of a major Spider-Man character. Norman Osborn is a popular contender since he's the CEO of the multibillion-dollar corporation, Oscorp Industries. The theory is Osborn bought Avengers Tower so it can become the new Oscorp Tower, which is where he runs his company.

Dario Agger, who is the CEO of Roxxon — one of the biggest corporations featured in the Marvel comics, movies, and videogames — could also be the mysterious buyer behind the Avengers Tower. The character is rumoured to appear in the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder movie, so his purchase of the Avengers' former HQ could be how he's finally introduced in the live-action franchise.

Disney+ Loki TV series may also hint at the new owner of the Avengers Tower. During the show, Loki is transported to an alternate reality where the Avengers Tower is no more. At the end of the fourth episode, we see the Tower destroyed, but instead of there being an "A" on the building, it reads, "Qeng Enterprises." Interestingly enough, Qeng Enterprises is a company that buys Avengers Tower from Stark Industries in the comics. The company is owned by a businessman named Mr. Gryphon, who is a variant of Nathaniel Richards, aka the supervillain Kang the Conqueror.

We saw a version of Kang in Loki named He Who Remains. Kang is also expected to appear in the upcoming film, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which will hit theatres in 2023.

While the true identity of the Avengers Tower remains a mystery, it seems we might have an answer soon with all the new Marvel films and TV series coming out.
