Kelley Attended The Bachelor Finale, and You Know Who's Here For It? Barb Freakin' Weber

As the massive drama unfolded on Peter Weber's finale of The Bachelor, one familiar face was in the audience. Kelley Flanagan, the onetime front runner who ultimately came in fifth on the season, was spotted sitting in the crowd. While it's not too unusual to have past cast members in the audience on finale night, Kelley's unique situation in this season had viewers extracurious about her appearance there.

Kelley's appearance on the show comes on the heels of a fan theory that she would be the one to end up with Peter, largely because his whole family follows her (and she follows back) on Instagram. The lack of her presence on the "Women Tell All" special only fuelled the theory, but others suspected that she simply wasn't asked to the WTA because she and the producers clashed over her calling out the fake drama of the season. In any case, she was in the audience for Tuesday night's live finale, but no attention was called to her being there other than silent camera shots.

Apparently, though, she's still close with Peter's family — his mom, Barb, especially! On one of Kelley's Instagram posts from the finale, Barb commented, "We need to do lunch and go shopping for the day," complete with a heart emoji. On another, Barb wrote, "The Most Beautiful, Elegant, Classy, Intelligent Stylish Girl in the world!!! You were and will always be my Fav rav." Barb has made her opinions about Peter's romantic choices quite clear (to recap: yay on Hannah Ann, nay on Madison), so it's not surprising to see her publicly commenting on the Insta of one of the girls she liked — even though Kelley never even made it to the official "meet the family" date.

Remember, Kelley did actually meet Peter before filming ever started, just by sheer chance: they met in a hotel lobby where she was attending a wedding and he was attending a high school reunion! Their relationship on the show ended when Peter admitted he felt more like they were friends than soulmates, and that clearly hasn't stopped Kelley from being friends with his family too!
