The 24-year-old Euphoria [2] actress secured the award for outstanding lead actress in a drama series during Sunday's show, and her pure excitement spread through the screen. She made history, both as the youngest lead actress in Emmys history and the second-ever Black actress to receive the award.

After showing up to help host Jimmy Kimmel present, Zendaya [3] celebrated her first-ever Emmy win surrounded by her family and friends. "To the incredible cast and crew of Euphoria [4]; I'm so lucky to get to go work with you every day," she said in her speech. "I'm inspired by everything you do."

"I know that this feels like a really weird time to be celebrating," she acknowledged. "But I just want to say like there is hope in the young people out there. I know that our TV show doesn't always feel like a great example of that but there is hope in the young people. To all my peers out there doing the work, in the streets: I see you, I admire you, and I thank you."
