When POPSUGAR finally announced the POPSUGAR at Kohl's collection [1], I couldn't wait to officially share the news with my friends. My dad was literally giddy over the TV commercial [2] (he re-watches it ten times a night on YouTube) and my boyfriend's mom, who's an avid Kohl's shopper, was just like, "OMG, are you going to wear it?" Wear it?! I was going to revolve my entire Fashion Week [3] wardrobe around it.
I was saving my favourite green utility jumpsuit [4] for Day 1, but I worked so many of the other pieces into my looks seamlessly, and often subtly. While I love to rally behind emerging labels by wearing the brand's designs throughout NYFW (the Amur denim dress you'll find ahead stood out to me in particular), I also think street style [5] should feel attainable, easy to re-create, and for that reason, relatively affordable.
I had already tried shopping fast fashion retailers a few seasons ago [6], so I felt incredibly proud to involve the company I work for and its brand new clothing line in my latest experiment. Day 1

How I Styled It
I think a lot of people will reach for a pair of white sneakers to complete the cropped utility jumpsuit, but what makes this piece so versatile [9], in my opinion, is that you can dress it up for the evening [10]. I wore mine simply with a pair of gold chandelier earrings, a Mary Rich leather clutch, and Salvatore Ferragamo pumps.
Day 2

How I Styled It
I was psyched to wear my new Tory Burch daisy dress on the day of the runway show [12], and I thought it paired perfectly with the distressed denim jacket. Every gal knows the power of comfy white sneakers and a dress, but I gave this look a '90s touch with my chunky Steve Madden platforms and an old vintage beaded purse that I wore crossbody style.
Day 3

How I Styled It
The cherry print shirtdress is a clear standout item from the collection. I wanted to give this look an artsy twist with the addition of white '80s booties from Dolce Vita, but I also know this dress speaks for itself, so I added small gold hoops and a simple, circular bag I own.
Day 4

How I Styled It
I loved how the ribbing detail on this adorable crop top, which comes in a few different colours, seemed to mimic the corduroy on this H&M skirt suit [15]. I wanted to go full-on '90s working woman, but with a modern twist, so Ash dad sneakers [16] were the answer. Finally, I added a vintage Fendi bag that I inherited from my grandma. I felt like Kendall Jenner would be proud [17] of this one.
Day 5

How I Styled It
I had been set on rocking this romantic Rebecca Taylor midi dress for weeks, but when I saw how perfectly the cranberry ties on this pullover matched, I knew I wanted to go for the layered look. I gave off prairie vibes in my favourite Dolce Vita cowboy boots and toted a Forever 21 mini bucket bag, which has hardware that reminds me of these gold BaubleBar earrings.
Day 6

How I Styled It
Fashion Director Hannah McKinley has been knotting her sweaters over the shoulder [20], and I love the way it looks. It's so nonchalant and laid-back cool. It's also a functional way to carry an extra layering piece when you're on-the-go. The red striped sweater from the POPSUGAR at Kohl's collection is perfect for rocking with denim, so my goal was sort of a busy, asymmetrical outfit that involved this amazing Amur denim dress with a ruffle at the skirt. I applied the crisscross effect, accessorising with my Karen Millen waistbag.
Day 7

How I Styled It
I definitely saved my favourite outfit for last. I was thrilled to wear this slime green [22] Ganni skirt I scored from Shopbop. The ruffled hem and wrap silhouette make it quite feminine, but the colourway is out there. I mixed prints and rocked the POPSUGAR at Kohl's contrasting polka-dot blouse, capping it all off with my Tamara Mellon cowboy boots and circle tote.
