As Grazia promised Daisy Lowe took to the catwalk for the first time this season at Anna Sui last night as part of New York Fashion Week. The gorgeous girl wasn't the only Brit to make an appearance as fellow model Agyness Deyn also walked for Ms. Sui. Whilst they both looked great in the folk inspired collection, Agyness hinted that she might not be starring on the runway for much longer.
Anna Sui's collection used a palette of positive Autumnal hues like purple, copper and blue. This new optimism was cast over very wearable, feminine designs as she stayed true to her signature folklore style. A luxe touch was added with Victoriana details, for example use of velvet, embroidery and fringing. There were also gothic elements with lace, sheer paneling and plenty of classic black garments, possibly a nod to the later Victorian years. What do you think of the collection?
