Amal and George Clooney joined their friends Stella McCartney and Alasdhair Willis for dinner in Lake Como, and Amal was dressed appropriately in a fringe trimmed mini from the English designer. Just imagine going out to grab a bite to eat with your gal pal, fielding compliments left and right about your outfit. All you have to do is turn to your BFF, point a finger, and say, "Thanks, she made it!"
But of course, the way the human rights activist and lawyer styles her ensembles is the real kicker. Stella might have created her dress, (which, BTW, is a beautiful shade somewhere in between pink and champagne), but Amal selected her beaded drop earrings, her Gabriela Hearst Nina Bag with rose gold hardware, and matching metallic, strappy shoes, which she casually removed to board a boat.
We'll pretend like we had time to notice George's navy blue suit and crisp shirting, but in reality, we barely even glanced at Amal's Prince Charming. When she's impressing us so in a look like this one, we'd rather spend time imagining what it'd be like to shake it out in her cocktail dress at a wedding. One thing's for sure: the next time we have an event, we're not about to play it safe — not after this incredibly bold, empowering statement.
