Amy Winehouse Talks About Her Designs for Fred Perry and Being a Size Six

Amy Winehouse Speaks About Her Clothing Line

You'd be forgiven for completely forgetting about this collaboration since it was first announced back in March, but this week Amy Winehouse has been talking about designing for Fred Perry.

The troubled singer has created a 17 piece capsule collection and described the brand as, "my be-all and end-all. I've always loved it, always worn it, it feels like a living dream. Amy was talking to Glamour magazine and explained, “I went through a lot of trouble with my ex-husband, so I had such a long time to think about the collection.”

She models pieces from the collaboration in the November issue of the magazine. Amy talks about her influences saying, “I like ’40s and ’50s stuff. I played Rizzo in Grease when I was a kid at school, and I’ve always worn bowling shirts and things like classic trenchcoats.”

The pieces are available in a size six by special request from Amy. She added, “When I started eating right, I lost quite a lot of weight. Everyone thinks it was because of my lifestyle. It was because my eating habits got a lot better and I came to my natural weight. I’m not really skinny but I’m tiny and I couldn’t really get anything because they didn’t do a size six.” Are you interested to see this collaboration?
