Anya Hindmarch's Autumn/Winter 2017 show was entitled "Vetr," the Icelandic word for Winter, and from the moment models stepped out onto the dramatic abstract mountains that made up the show space, show-goers were transported into a fun and fabulous Winter wonderland. The tongue-in-cheek touches that helped bring the designer to the forefront in recent seasons were just as apparent this season, by way of shearling creepers with fluffy eyes, woodland-esque animal purses, and boxy compartmental bags.
If Wes Anderson did a fashion show, this would be it. The retro colour schemes, pop colours, and childish touches felt like they'd come straight off one of his film sets — something those who've been missing Orla Kiely's LFW shows will no doubt have enjoyed! As ever with Hindmarch, the focus was on the accessories, but don't overlook the incredible coats and tippets too.
