From Ballgown to Bin Bag — These Are the Best Dresses From the 2019 TV BAFTA Awards
Nope, it's not been a year already since the BAFTA film awards, although we wouldn't blame you for thinking so. In February, we saw our favourite film stars celebrate. On Sunday evening, the TV stars made their way onto the red carpet for the 2019 TV BAFTA Awards to celebrate the success of the best TV shows of the year and pick up prestigious awards. Amidst all of the speeches and award celebration, there was certainly plenty of fashion to celebrate, too.
Phoebe Waller-Bridge waltzed down the carpet in a teal cape dress complete with pockets, her Killing Eve, costar Jodie Comer rocked up in a one-shoulder magenta dress, and then there was Daisy May Cooper from This Country, who turned up in a 60-litre bin bag dress designed by her mum, then donated the money that would've been spent on a dress to a food bank. A talented group of actors and definitely a well-dressed bunch.
