Is it any surprise that Cara Delevingne couldn't keep the smile off her face as she strutted down the Burberry runway on Saturday, sporting a floor-length rainbow faux fur cape lined with the label's famous check? Though she's mostly given up modelling in favour of acting, she clearly couldn't turn down the opportunity to close such a momentous show.

Christopher Bailey's final collection for the British heritage brand was dedicated to — and in support of — the LGBTQ+ community. Dramatic swinging lights opened the show in moody fashion, while a celebratory rainbow laser light show was the backdrop for Cara's epic closer. The designer received a standing ovation from the crowds, who were there to wave him goodbye after almost two decades at Burberry. And what a way to go! The show was made up of over 150 looks, featuring everything from doodle-embellished floor-length coats to tartan kilts.

Aside from the rainbows, the '80s and '90s were referenced heavily, from the sporty jackets inspired by the shellsuits we've all tried to forget, to classic Burberry check baseball caps, chunky hoodies, and even the fact that '90s British icons Kate Moss and Liam Gallagher sat front row. The collection can be pre-ordered now, alongside a selection of reissues from the '80s and '90s for those who want to take those throwbacks even further. Take a look at the highlights ahead, plus Cara's big runway return!
