Camilla Parker-Bowles Attends Royal Variety Performance in Westwood

Duchess of Cornwall in Westwood

The Royal Variety Performance took place on Thursday night at the London Palladium. The likes of Leona Lewis and Take That performed to Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles. Camilla made an unusual choice in terms of dress wearing a specially commissioned design by Dame Vivienne Westwood. Whilst the dress is very nice and flattering it seems slightly ironic that a designer who founded her name in anarchism should now dress a member of the Royal family. Irony aside, it's great to see Camilla supporting a London based designer and she's not the only one with a softspot for Ms Westwood. Sarah, Duchess of York and both her daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie are said to be fans of her too.
