This week, celebrities were holding onto what remains of Summer. Denim took centre stage as some of our favourite celebrities showed us how to make our favourite warm-weather pieces work for the Fall as well. Gigi Hadid was seen supporting her gal Serena Williams at the U.S. Open wearing a Canadian tuxedo (that's A denim on denim look, in case you weren't aware). Katie Holmes [1] was my favourite of the week in a Khaite cashmere bralette and cardigan combo paired with jeans. Miley Cyrus [2] also opted for denim after the VMAs [3], with her new love interest Kaitlynn Carter wearing a Fendi button-down shirt over a white crop top.

Selena Gomez [4] and Victoria Beckham [5] showed us how to style a classic Summer dress. Victoria dressed up a long maxi dress [6] with a simple gold pendant from her collection. Her maxi dress can easily be taken into the cooler months with the addition of a light jacket and mules. Selena, on the other hand, opted for a sweet puff-sleeve Staud plaid dress for a Kacey Musgraves concert [7].
