Take a Sensual Art Lesson With Christopher Kane
Christopher Kane had a really big week with the opening of his first store on London's Mount Street. The sleek and minimal interior of that store had a lot in common with his London Fashion Week show location, the Tate Modern art gallery. It created the perfect contrast to an artistic collection, which featured life drawings adorned on the gowns, making for a sensual yet sophisticated look. Following a muted outing for Spring, Kane's bold colour choices were again on display with bright pops of red and cobalt blue that were especially appealing on a ruffled dress and a zigzag-patterned coat. But Kane didn't stop there. In a nod to his store's chic Mayfair location, the show also featured unexpected luxurious pieces made from velvet and precious skins.
