Let's get the obvious out of the way first. Christopher Kane is trying to make Crocs happen again. The models may have relished those comfy clogs after days of hitting the runways in vertiginous heels, but we have a feeling this is a look most of us will give a wide berth. That said, the addition of agate crystals for a bit of bling does make you look twice.
But now let's focus our attention to the clothes. Kane is yet another designer celebrating his 10th anniversary, and like Henry Holland, he chose to to take us on a trip down memory lane, albeit in a more subtle manner. Anyone familiar with the designer's aesthetic will be in familiar territory, but he had a few new tricks up his sleeve too. We loved the slouchy cardigans, floral organza appliqué dresses, and teal lace minis. Leather skirts came dressed up with embroidered borders, and party time was taken care of via slinky dresses with pleated metallic panels and soft layered dresses reminiscent of '20s flapper girls.
