Claire Danes Wore the Complete Opposite of a Princess Ballgown to the Met Gala
Claire Danes did a complete 180 from her Met Gala look last year. She didn't arrive in a Cinderella-esque ballgown; instead, she wore a deconstructed blouse and black trousers from Monse — a look fresh off the Autumn 2017 runway. The ruffled ensemble stood in sharp contrast to Claire's previous feminine look. This year's outfit was edgier for the star and definitely a bolder choice, which Claire seemingly rocked with confidence.
The look was in keeping with the Met Gala's theme, a tribute to Comme des Garcons designer Rei Kawakubo, who is known for experimental tailoring and masculine touches. We think Claire pulled off her look flawlessly. Scroll on to see Claire's full look and let us know if you see the similarities.
