Elie Saab's son, Elie Saab Jr., married Christina Mourad (who goes by Kika) in Beirut, Lebanon, in the midst of a three-day celebration. Kika didn't just walk down the aisle in one gown designed by her father-in-law; she wore a total of four looks, including one blue cutout dress perfect for partying at Faqra Club with her 1,000-plus guests. When she walked down the aisle, Kika was in this intricately stitched ballgown with an illusion neckline, a row of buttons that extended from the collar, and a veil affixed to her hairstyle, which was created by Wassim Morkos. "The Whole World is Watching and She is worth it," Kika's makeup artist, Bassam Fattouh, posted on his Instagram account.
The guest list was fabulous, with many models and stars such as Sara Sampaio, Toni Garrn, Dita Von Teese, and Karolina Kurkova included. A handful of people wore Elie Saab as an ode to the fashion house, and the brand dedicated three posts to the bride, elaborating on the signature Haute Couture craftsmanship that was reflected on two of the bride's shimmering gold dresses. For the preparty, Kika chose yet another Elie Saab look that she cinched at the waist with a gold belt.
