Popsugar Fashion Celebrity Fashion Emma Stone's Dress at the Met Gala 2018 Emma Stone Just Made a Nautical Gown Sexy, And We Have No Words 8 May 2018 by Marisa Tom Image Source: Getty / John Shearer Arm in arm with designer Nicolas Ghesquière, Emma Stone wore one of his Louis Vuitton designs for her turn on the Met Gala red carpet. The dark navy blue dress was not only punctuated with gold button and fringe detailing — both at the plunging deep-V neckline and along the crisp leg slits — it also featured gold embroidery on the long-sleeve cuffs and black lapel and a sleek gold chain at the waist. She polished off the gilded look with a compact gold Louis Vuitton luggage clutch and black-and-white spats-esque heels. It should come as no surprise that Emma opted for Louis Vuitton. After all, she was announced as the latest ambassador for the French fashion house last October and has since been seen wearing the brand at the 2018 Oscars and during her press tour for Battle of the Sexes.
