Strictly's Aristocrat Is Shaking Things Up in So Many Ways, but Especially When It Comes to Style

06/08/2019 - 09:30 AM

A member of the nobility wearing a crop top? Yep, this is one aristocrat who is happy to push the boundaries. Emma Thynn, Viscountess Weymouth (or Emma Weymouth, as she's commonly known) brings a breath of fresh air to the upper classes with her fashion choices, and that's only one way she's shaken up the British aristocracy. When Emma's husband succeeds his father, the Marquess of Bath, she's set to become the first black marchioness in British history. To put that into British peerage context [1], a marquess and marchioness are second only to a duke and duchess. We'll all get to know Emma better soon, as she's set to step into the ballroom on Strictly Come Dancing.

Given that her London socialite mother raised her in South Kensington, it's not surprising that Emma is often seen hanging out with Made in Chelsea's poshest of the posh, Mark-Francis Vandelli. She's also a regular on the London fashion circuit. Not only has she worked as brand ambassador for Fiorucci, but Emma has also walked for Dolce & Gabbana at Milan Fashion Week — that's when she's not preparing afternoon tea at the Longleat estate, sharing recipes on her online cooking channel, or playing with her two young sons. Her life is straight out of a glossy magazine, but it's her outfits that have us hooked. Her love of florals, metallics, strapless dresses, and crop tops will have you following her fashion choices, too — start reading now to see exactly what we mean.
