With only a couple of months to go until the highly anticipated Erdem x H&M collection launches, all eyes were on the designer as he presented his latest designs at London Fashion Week. Could they hint towards what we can expect from his high street collaboration? Quite possibly, given that many of the hallmarks of a classic Erdem show were there: the modest necklines, the delicate dark florals, the ruffles and tiers. But we also saw silhouettes that are less associated with the designer: full skirts, bubble hems, belted coats, and evening looks that were more '30s glamour than Erdem's usual go-to Victoriana. Off-the-shoulder necklines, crop tops, and cutout bodices added a touch of sexiness, but this was still a show rooted in femininity. If this is a precursor to what's coming at H&M, we'll see you in the queue.
