Not Everyone's a Fan of the New J.Crew
We may have oohed and ahhed over J.Crew's fashion-forward Autumn 2015 collection, but it turns out, not everyone's a fan. In a recent article for the Wall Street Journal, Elizabeth Holmes explores what happened to the once-iconic brand, which has seen sales decline in recent years. Interviewing avid J.Crew shoppers, she discovered that many missed the way it used to be, when the brand sold staples rather than trend-driven styles. Some even stated that the quality isn't what it was, that prices have increased, and that while they used to wear the brand from head to toe, they often return from their store visits empty-handed.
But what about you? Do you think J.Crew has lost its appeal? Tell us your thoughts in the included poll.
