PopSugar UK and I headed down to the opening of Jacques Townhouse in London last night. The temporary bar (it's there for just 10 days) has been designed by Sophie Ellis Bextor and David Carter and is a truly magical experience.
The opening party offered tarot readings, dramatic false eyelashes and more cake than you could ever eat! Sophie DJ'd at the party with her husband Richard Jones, before she made way for Jameela Jamil who opened with "Brown Eyed Girl".
I caught up with her before she took to the decks to find out about what she was wearing and her style tips. To hear what she had to say just, read more.
Can you tell us about what you're wearing?
I'm wearing a Reiss dress and old Kurt Geiger boots. I love the High Street! My favourite shops are Topshop, Urban Outfitters, H&M and All Saints. Oh and ASOS are brilliant too. I bought a £12 maxi dress from there today. It's Grecian and elegant. I totally respect designers, but I don't think you need to spend that much. If I'm going to spend loads of money, I want to wear it again and again, like my bag! It's all about the Mulberry Roxanne.
Do you have any favourite London stores?
I love Beyond Retro. I love vintage because I've got an old fashioned body! I'm a size 12 which really surprises people, but I like chips and I have an arse. I don't want it to hurt when I sit down!
What are your Summer style tips?
Be comfortable! The only way forward is so be comfortable in what you're wearing, especially at festivals.
Jacques Townhouse is open now on Fitzroy Square, W1T. It's there until Friday 6th August
