The Fall season [1] is akin to the New Year of fashion. It's the time in which designers debut fresh seasonal designs that seem to give a kick-start to the next twelve months, if not beyond. While all four main and precollections spark massive joy [2] in the hearts of all style worshipers [3], there's a simple je ne sais quoi about Autumn. Perhaps it's the nostalgia of back-to-school months, the energy of bustling cities refilling as Summer holiday comes to a close, or a nagging desire to rid our bodies of the sticky heat of the past few months; but no matter what the motivation, our wardrobes get a little facelift alongside our mindsets.
As for me, among statement tops, new polished flats, a structured bag, and more, I'm shopping for some new denim [4]. Because, aren't we all? This fall, there are some silhouettes I couldn't be more excited to try. High-Rise Straight-Leg
The high-rise straight-leg jean is a classic that isn't going anywhere this Fall. Consider it the one to own,if you only buy one pair. The difference as we enter the last leg of 2019, though, is that the style is trending a little bit more tailored and a little bit less "mom jean" style.
