Right now Gap is one of the few High Street stores which is not available to UK shoppers online. They have an extensive transactional site for US customers and soon British consumers will have access to pieces too. They have just inked a deal with Asos.com who will offer Gap's Autumn collection with pieces from the mens and childrenswear line as well as womenswear, and there are plans to add items from the Christmas range. ASOS already stock 800 brands including Mango, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Roberto Cavalli and Alice McCall.
Chief executive of asos, Neil Robertson commented, "Choice is key to the asos.com proposition and we are delighted to welcome Gap on-board to further enhance the strength of our branded offering." It's a great addition to online shopping, and I can't wait to check out the pieces. Are there any stores that you wish were available online?
