Headbands for Spring 2010

Trend Alert: Floral Headbands

undefined

I am always impressed by the difference a good headband can make to an outfit. A real statement one can make a big difference to a plain ensemble.

This Spring, floral headbands are everywhere and people are really embracing the new accessory. A range of different styles are available including headbands or elastic stretch versions. I love this purple one (£175) from Liberty. Will you be wearing a floral headband this Spring?

advah - i have quite a small head too so sometimes they gap at the top 'corners' i tend to buy thin children's fabric ones rather than thick plastic but sometimes it's just unavoidable :(

I have a simple wire headband with a huge pink flower on the side (got it super cheap at Dorothy Perkins a couple of years ago) - I can more or less get away with it because my hair is curly and puffy so the flower doesn't stand out. I love quirky headbands and accessories. :) C4rolin3 - how I hear you about headbands squeezing your head! It's so difficult to find one that doesn't give a headache!

i've got my hair up on a chignon today and to the side i've clipped in two white flower hair slides from H&M they were £1.99 for the pair i love a headband and have a similar (but smaller) topshop version especially when doing my best blair waldorf impersonation :) but sometimes it gives me a headache from the pressure behind the ears i also have the woolen version in black and white but mine are from oasis :) ♥
