It's hard to believe it's been 10 years since Henry Holland first debuted his brand at London Fashion Week. His front row is still a who's who of London's style set, and his designs still exude the same youthfulness.
While his last collection borrowed a little from the '20s, '70s, and '80s, for Spring 2017, the designer is decidedly inspired by the '70s. We saw him send everything from tiered and ruffled gingham pieces to leather flares down the catwalk.
The House of Holland girl goes from mismatched gingham co-ords and dresses to kitschy floral prints in bell bottoms and maxi-length skirts and dresses to grungy dresses in black netting that feature floral appliqués.
Holland's ability to turn several ideas into a cohesive collection is maybe the reason he's one of few recent designers who's been able to build such a strong brand — every collection has something for everyone, and this one is no different.
To mark his brand's milestone collection, models wearing fun slogan t-shirts that paid homage to the designer's first Fashion Week show stormed the catwalk and reminded us all of the reason we fell for House of Holland in the first place!
