Yo-Ho-Ho Are Going to Love House of Holland's Latest Collection
The theme of House of Holland's Spring/Summer 2018 collection was "Original Pirate Material," but don't worry, these weren't cheesy pirate-inspired Halloween costumes. In fact, the biggest motif was a retro wave that felt more 1970s than 1700s high seas. As ever, Henry Holland took us on a street-style-inspired journey, putting a fun and wearable twist on everything that hit the runway. The 1970s definitely reigned, from the embroidered flares to the hippy dresses, but there was a touch of '90s in there too. If nothing else, this show will make you want a bumbag, but you'll wear it slung across your chest rather than wrapped around your middle, teamed (if you're feeling very brave) with ankle socks and tinsel slides. See the full show now, and start planning how you're going to work one of those wavy slip dresses into next Summer's wardrobe.
