It's been three years since Isabella Blow sadly took her own life. She is certainly missed from the fashion world particularly for the way she embraced new designers and discovered upcoming talent. Two of the names she brought in to the mainstream are Alexander McQueen and Phillip Treacy and she developed an impressive collection of their pieces.
It's these that will be auctioned off by Christie’s in September along with more items by John Galliano and Manolo Blahnik. The sale is reportedly taking place so that Isabella's sisters can settle debts from her former estate. September will also see the release of two books, one is by former personal assistant Martina Rink and another by her widower Detmar Blow.
