Julianne Hough's gilded bikini might go down in iconic swimspiration history, except that she just wore it to the 2019 Billboard Music Awards [1], so not exactly the beach. Ok, to be fair, the actress isn't literally wearing a swimsuit, but the shimmering ensemble by Genny, consisting of an underwire bra top, high-waisted hot pants, and a coordinating cardigan is the closest we'll come to seeing a bikini on the red carpet outside of Miami Swim Week.

If there's ever a red carpet to take a risk on, the Billboard Music Awards is certainly fair game. The unwritten dress code seems to be "sexy" and if that's the case, Julianne pretty much nailed it.
