Kate Middleton Alexander McQueen Dress March 2019

Kate Middleton Has Worn This Dress Before, But Add Sleeves and It's a Whole New Look

Kate Middleton's closet is enviably vast, but even the Duchess of Cambridge likes to rewear old favourites every once in a while. Kate will double-dip into her collection of coats, skirts, shoes, and on occasion, a floor-length gown, like she did on March 12 for the Portrait Gala 2019 in London. Just hours after she showed off her penchant for high-waisted pants while visiting a children's centre, Kate went full glam for her night out in a familiar Alexander McQueen dress.

Despite a small alteration to the sleeves, eagle-eyed royal fans may recognise Kate's floral black gown from the 2017 BAFTAs. While the outfit used to be off-the-shoulder, Kate added a matching cap sleeve this time around, making the drop waist dress a little more modest. It's a whole new look! She paired the gown with teardrop earrings, black heels, a matching clutch, and her sparkling engagement ring. Ahead, see more snaps of Kate's reworked
