Kate Middleton Colour Outfits

The Duchess of Cambridge's Most Powerful Looks Have This 1 Thing in Common

When it comes to fashion, the Duchess of Cambridge has a few tricks up her royal sleeve, and she certainly isn't one to leave a stone unturned. From her power colour to her favourite tiara and enviable bags, there's no denying that the Duchess of Cambridge knows how to make an impact with her sartorial choices and, as it turns out, there is one specific hack that she seems to be particularly fond of. Over the years, Kate has more than once stunned in head-to-toe monochrome looks, perfectly coordinating her dresses to her coats, bags, and shoes. She recently did so when she attended the Easter church service in London, dressed in a chic pastel blue-grey ensemble.

In fact, the duchess generally opts for monochrome outfits when she attends important family events: she wore a gorgeous magenta ensemble to Princess Eugenie's wedding, and turned to canary yellow for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's nuptials. Of course, monochrome ensembles have long been a fail-proof option for most fashion girls, so it's perhaps no surprise that the Duchess of Cambridge, with the help of her stylist, has added this trick to her repertoire. Ahead, get a closer look at some of Kate's best head-to-toe outfits from the past couple of years.
