No print will ever be quite as festive as plaid, and the Duchess of Cambridge knows it. On Dec. 4, Kate and William were photographed at Kensington Palace, where they hosted a Christmas party [1] for the families of deployed personnel serving in Cyprus.
For the fun occasion, the duchess wore a beautiful, pleated plaid skirt from designer Emilia Wickstead, which she paired with a simple cropped cardigan from Brora, and black suede boots.
