Some very exciting news just landed in my inbox and I couldn't wait to share it with you. 2010 Graduate Fashion Week is slightly over a month away and River Island have just revealed details of their supporting campaign. The GFW campaign will include 40 pieces created by past graduates who are now employed by the store.
This is the sixth consecutive year that River Island have worked with the fashion showcase and this time they have recruited hip hop star Kelis to front the womenswear campaign. Last year, Amber Le Bon featured in the ads. Kelis explained her involvement saying, "People need help and encouragement when they’re starting out. That’s why I think what River Island is doing with fashion graduates is so great. I don’t want to look like everybody else, you know?" How do you feel about Kelis landing this role?
