Get ready, Chanel fans: you're about to see a whole lot of Kristen Stewart. The actress has been named the face of Chanel's Pre-Fall 2014 campaign, which will be photographed by none other than the brand's creative director, Karl Lagerfeld. More on Stewart's exciting Chanel campaign, here.
Stewart was among the guests at Chanel's annual Métiers d'Art show Tuesday night, which Lagerfeld staged in Dallas, TX. The location was meant to honour the brand's long-standing relationship with America — so it makes sense to pick an American woman to star in the coordinating campaign. The images are expected to be released next May.
The Twilight star has turned to Chanel for a number of red carpet appearances, including for the dress she wore to the 2010 Met Gala. And she has the chops to make the campaign shine. In addition to gracing scores of magazine covers and fashion editorials, Stewart was previously the face of Balenciaga's Florabotanica fragrance.
