Fashion TV in the UK is a bit thin on the ground. Whilst Americans have Project Runway, Running in Heels and (most recently) Kell on Earth, we're still desperately trying to keep up. Well, this Summer an exciting new reality TV show will launch as Liberty are searching for hot, young design talent to be stocked in their London department store. The Britain's Got Talent style show, The Buying Game, will feature the store's buying director, Ed Burstell and a whole host of young designers.
The winner of the competition will be chosen as a supplier. Burstell joined Liberty from Bergdorf Goodman in 2008. He told WWD, "It’s great for Liberty and for young British talent. I knew once I moved to another country that I would finally become a reality TV star."
