Meghan Markle kicked off the new year by starting her work as a patron for four charities, and her first visit was a perfect fit. On Thursday, the duchess visited Smart Works, a London-based organisation that helps long-term unemployed and vulnerable women regain skills for the workforce, including how to dress their best for job interviews.
An absolutely glowing Meghan joined volunteers at Smart Works to help style women with professional clothing and accessories that had been donated to the charity. She picked out dresses, coats, bags, and earrings to curate outfits that made women feel the most confident. Funnily enough, Meghan even said she had donated a bag to Smart Works and a woman on a previous visit didn't seem to like it. "The last time I was here, I suggested a purse to someone — it was one that I had donated — and she didn't like it, and I was like OK!" she joked with a laugh.
The royal herself chose a sleek black dress and Gianvito Rossi heels for the occasion, giving us some closet inspiration of our own. Watch the sweet video of her visit, and see more moments from the styling session ahead.
