George Davies has already helped both Marks & Spencer and Asda get on to the fashion map, and now he is in talks with another. This weekend, there has been reports that Davies is now in talks with supermarket chain Morrirsons. The store doesn't currently have a clothing line, but Morrisons' new chief executive Dalton Philips wants to expand the chain beyond food.
Tesco, Sainsburys and Asda already have successful clothing lines so it makes sense that Morrisons would follow suit. The deal is expected to bank Davies with £20 million before the fashion brand even hits stores. Would you be interested to see a collection that Davies would create for Morrisons?
