New York Fashion Week Spring 2020 Schedule

The New York Fashion Week Calendar Is Here — It's Shorter, and Even More Exciting

New York Fashion Week Spring 2020 Schedule

The CFDA released the official Spring/Summer 2020 New York Fashion Week schedule, and it's a lot shorter than you may remember. While editors, models, designers, photographers, and influencers have worked hard in the Big Apple over the course of seven or eight days in the past, this season the calendar is limited to six days and five nights. Fashion Week will begin on Friday, Sept. 6, with Telfar's debut and end on Wednesday, Sept. 11, with the Marc Jacobs show.

In the midst of it all, Tommy Hilfiger and Zendaya will come together to launch their new Tommy x Zendaya collection at the Apollo Theatre in Harlem, and Tommy's "See Now, Buy Now" pieces will be peppered into the lineup too. As per usual, we can expect big celebrity turnouts in the front row at Christian Siriano on Saturday, Tory Burch on Sunday, and Tom Ford on Monday night, which is usually a spectacle that happens earlier on in the week, as soon as Hollywood stars touch down in the city.

"We listened to feedback from both the domestic and the global fashion industry to tighten and strengthen the Official New York Fashion Week schedule," said Steven Kolb, president and CEO of the CFDA in a press release. "I am excited for the strong September lineup which will continue to showcase and celebrate the creativity and diversity of American fashion."
