This is the second season that Cacharel has been designed by London based couple Eley Kishimoto. The label was founded in the early '60s by Jean Bousquet but he recently retired and was introduced to Eley Kishimoto by French artist Sophie Calle.
The Spring collection was shown in Paris yesterday (the first major show for the revived brand) and fuses the best elements of both labels. There are plenty of cute prints alongside delicate feminine dresses and playful denim.
Wak Kishimoto explained that the Winter collection (due to hit stores soon) was inspired by a French schoolgirl's wardrobe and that the prints represent doodles in a school notebook.
In the Spring line there are bright tailored jackets and dresses with floral applique. There is a classic seaside feel to the pieces which were accessorised with crochet headbands, bags and hats as well as vintage style shopper bags and cute floral sandals. What do you think of the pieces?
