Ten Fab Looks From Burberry Prorsum Spring '11
The Burberry Prorsum show has become the pinacle of London Fashion Week. Ever since the brand returned to the UK, it has attracted some of the world's most famous editors not to mention A list celebrities. This season, I attended the show for the first time and was incredibly excited. This show is on a whole other scale to the rest of the week with an enormous packed out venue. I am constantly impressed with how Christopher Bailey develops the classically British brand and this season he gave it a biker edge.
Leather detailing was added to the classic trench and quilted panels adorned skin tight trousers before more fierce designs took over. The biker jacket was the coat du jour for Burberry as it was covered in gold studs for a distinct edgy look. They were contrasted against pretty party dresses which were tiered and ruched in silk. There was also a touch of animal print in snake skin and leopard. Accessories were neon, which is a trend that has emerged throughout the week. This is a collection that is sure to effect everyone's wardrobe for Spring. Click through to see my ten favourite looks.
