It was the second season at London Fashion Week for sustainable eco brand Prophetik. The label created a ho down in central London with gorgeous folklore designs and a live band! The designer, Jeff Garner, only uses sustainable fabrics and vegetable dyes to be not just a friend of the environment, but to also to be kind to his employees throughout the production process. For Spring 2011 the collection was very womanly with a definite 19th century influence. There were dip dyed pieces along with white almost Grecian designs. The looks were teamed with lace up boots, cork wedges or leather boots. Prophetik also used the occasion to launch a leather iphone case as part of a collaboration with Griffin. It uses reclaimed leather which is upcycled in to this case with several internal compartments.
