Pink Emilia Wickstead Dress
The '60s-Style Pink Dress That's FAB
Emilia Wickstead may be best known for dressing the Duchess of Cambridge in a series of appropriately demure dresses, but she has a lot more to offer than just tea dresses and smart coats. Her Autumn collection was inspired by Diana Vreeland, but we think she may have been channeling Thunderbirds' Lady Penelope with this particular '60s-style pink offering (her, or Elle Woods). The high collar and pearl embellishment of the Paloma dress (£2,780) give it a prim feel, but the short hemline and cutout back add some modern contrast. With so many designers persuading us to think pink at both the Autumn 2013 and Spring 2014 shows, is it any surprise this dress instantly caught our eye?
