One of the ways in which Princess Diana is remembered is for amazing style. Her wedding dress, created by David and Elizabeth Emanuel, is one of the most famous pieces of clothing of all time, and this wasn't the only item they designed for the late style icon.
The duo have decided to auction 30 lots from the archive which include a black taffeta gown (pictured here) which Diana wore in 1981 when she was just 19 years old. They're being put up for sale by Kerry Taylor Auctions in June at La Galleria on London’s Pall Mall.
Kerry Taylor told WWD, "The drive is to get the garments out of their trunks and into the public domain." They expect to achieve sales of up to £110,000 from both Diana fans and dedicated collectors.
