If it's been a while since the last time you called a bag campaign twee, get ready to do it again. In the final instalment of Gucci's "Forever Now" campaign, the house hired Bruce Weber to photograph Charlotte Casiraghi and a whole herd of camera-ready golden retrievers with its new bamboo bag.
“It is always a great pleasure to work with Frida Giannini and Gucci, and it is a great honour to be part of iconic campaigns with such a talented photographer as Bruce Weber," Casiraghi said of the campaign. "Working with him was a wonderful experience, and our love and fascination for animals created a very spontaneous bond during the shoot."
Weber certainly shares his subject's enthusiasm for dogs — in fact he's photographed our canine friends nearly as much as he has models. And in this case, we think going to the dogs was a good move.
